Dimeryl diisocyanate (DDI) is one specialty isocyanate, featuring low toxicity, no yellowing, soluble in most of the organic solvents, low water sensitivity and low viscosity.

 

Besides being applied in the propellant, DDI is projected to have bright application potential in the field of textile treatment, elastomer, adhesive, sealing agent, printing ink etc.

 

Polyurethane resin made by DDI and polyether, polyester or acrylic polyol  has the advantages of no yellowing, excellent elasticity, high strength and low water sensitivity etc.
